PHP/Python/Ruby - Immoral?

Wasting millions of tonnes CO2 to use interpreted languages like Ruby, Python and PHP is so 20th century. 

10 or 20 years ago it was acceptable to do everything in the pursuit of any easy life and a fast buck. No longer; we cannot afford, as a global population, to be throwing away resource at this massive scale. Using interpretors as anything more than a thin wrapper around compiled libraries is just immoral. Frankly, it is no fun anyhow - who likes to go slow?
